Three crocodiles have been killed by vigilantes in recent weeks in Puerto Vallarta – one of them in a fashion taken right out of the playbook of the drug cartels.

Vigilante justice is taking hold of Puerto Vallarta. In the early hours of Thursday, six men, completely naked, were discovered tied to electricity and lamp posts in various parts in the city.

Forty underage girls at risk of being trafficked were rescued last Saturday in Puerto Vallarta by the coordinated efforts of various law enforcement agencies, mainly federal.  The majority were between 13 and 15 years old.
