Poco a Poco is excited to announce the inauguration of the new kitchen and dining area at its brand-new Community Center in San Pedro Itzicán. Here, they feed 160 children, five days a week, in three sittings.
Everyone is invited to take a trip to see it with them on Wednesday, May 8. Departure is at 11:30 a.m. behind Black Coffee in Ajijic. A carpool has been organized for the journey. Contact Kari if you can either drive or need a ride (see contact information below).
The scenic drive takes about an hour, possibly stopping in Chapala to pick up fellow attendees. Upon arrival in San Pedro, you’ll spend about an hour or so seeing the children enjoying their meal and admiring the new facility. The tour will finish by 2:30 p.m., with a return to Ajijic around 3:30 p.m., depending on traffic. If you’re unable to drive but eager to join, meet behind Black Coffee at 11:30 a.m., but let Kari know in advance.
