Investigations conducted by the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office (FGE) have led to the arrest of a suspect in the attempted murder of two men in the town of San Nicolás de Ibarra.

According to FGE investigators, the man identified as Felipe de Jesús C. was allegedly responsible for the savage beating of two male victims last month that left them with severe injuries requiring their transfer to a medical facility for attention.

The suspect was detained by agents of the Investigative Police in the vicinity of Chapala’s Cristianía Park.
