Lakeside Little Theatre presents the scandalous, Tony-nominated comedy, “The Little Dog Laughed,” by Douglas Carter Beane and directed by Randy Warren December 8 to 17.

U.S./Mexican soprano Kristin Sampson will share her life story in an intimate afternoon  with pivotal arias at the Casa Del Sol Inn, Saturday, December 9, 4 to 6 p.m. in a benefit for The Chapala Opera Guild.

“X: The Life & Times of Malcolm X” is the next production from the Met to screen at the Lakeside Little Theatre, Sunday, November 26 to Tuesday, November 28.

In addition to all its usual panache, the 2023 Feria Maestros del Arte put a new twist on the extraordinary exhibition of Mexican folk art with a special area dedicated to showcasing masterful artisans from the state of Oaxaca.

Lakeside has a brand new community chorus, “Las Voces del Lago.” The group’s premiere July concert was an overwhelming success, and their future looks very bright.

Monica Cardenas has re-branded her San Antonio Tlayacapan gallery on the plaza as La Tiendita de Arte Los Ojos del Tiempo.
