The Lake Chapala Society (LCS) will hold its 2024 Annual General Meeting of the membership on Tuesday, March 19, 10 a.m. to noon, on the campus grounds at Calle 16 de Septiembre 16-A.
The main gate is located at the corner of Ramón Corona. Attendance may be in-person or via Zoom, with advanced registration required.
Non-members are also welcome to attend the AGM in person to learn about the organization and how its services and activities have progressed over the past year. However, only currently active members are allowed to vote.
Key items on the agenda include the president’s report, ratification of the 2023 financial report, receipt of 2024 budget projections, ratification of membership categories and dues, ratification of the reserve fund deposit, the election of board officers and directors-at-large, and an update on the LCS 2.0 long-range plan.
Founded in 1955, LCS has grown throughout seven decades to become lakeside’s most vibrant non-profit organization, offering a wide range of services and activities to the area’s residents and visitors of all nationalities.
