Eco-conscious citizens might wish to head over to the “Green Festival” at the Galerias Santa Anita on Avenida Lopez Mateos Sur on Saturday, March 23, where you’ll find vendors of organic foods, plants, esoteric items, and much more.
Kintsugo pottery demonstrations are scheduled at 10 a.m. and noon, and craft beer tastings at 4 and 5 p.m. (Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold.) Various bands will perform in the indoor mall throughout the day. Galerias Santa Anita opened in 2019, and features a Liverpool department store as its main anchor. It houses many of the same apparel chains as its sister Guadalajara mall, Galerias at Vallarta and Rafael Sanzio, as well as fast food outlets such as Popeyes, KFC, McDonalds and Starbucks.
