March offer at Guadalajara Zoo
If your birthday falls in March, you can obtain free entry to the Guadalajara Zoo throughout the month by simply showing your ID.
The Guadazoo Package offer includes free entry to some of the zoo’s specialist attractions, such as Monkeyland, the Australian villa, Amazon Rainforest, Wonders of the Kalahari and the interactive museum.
Guinness on tap
Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, Sunday, March 17, at the Real Irish Pub in Gudalajatra, at Libertad 1903, Colonia Americana, just around the corner from the U.S. Cocsulate. It clanims to be the only bar in the city serving Guinness on tap. Open Thursday to Saturday, 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and this Sunday, 2 p.m. to midnight.

Canelo to fight compatriot
Superstar Guadalajara boxer Saul “Canelo” Álvarez will defend his WBC, WBA, IBF and WBO Super Middleweight titles against fellow countryman Jaime Munguía at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 4. Munguía. a 27-year-old from Tijuana, is undefeated in 43 fights, 34 of them knockout victories. This will be Canelo’s fist match-up against a Mexican opponent since he defeated Julio César Chávez Jr. in May 2017.
